Description

The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, and incidental supplies necessary for the Hardin Ridge Recreation Area Waterline and Sanitary Sewer Reconstruction on the Brownstown Ranger District of the Hoosier National Forest in Monroe County, Indiana. The project includes, but is not limited to the following work: 1) providing waterlines and connections to existing county water line, 2) providing water drains, valves, hydrants, fountains, and other appurtenances, 3) replacing and repairing sections of sanitary sewer lines and manholes, and 4) abandoning or removing existing wells, building, water system and sewer system components. This solicitation will be advertised using the sealed bidding format and a 20% bid bond is required for a firm fixed price, construction contract. One contract will be awarded for all items. This solicitation will be available ONLY electronically at the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website: http://www.eps.gov/, on approximately January 26, 2004. This project is estimated at between $250,000 and $500,000. Solicitation number: R9-ORB-04-3022. NAICS: 237110. Projected Start Date: approximately March 15, 2004. Performance Period: 120 days.
