- Description
- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for conference services for the Biometric Consortium Conference to be held in Arlington, VA on September 20-22, 2004. Through competitive procedures, it has been determined that the Hyatt Regency, 2799 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, VA 22202 is the only vendor in the location required with space available on the dates required. The government will award a fixed-price purchase order on or about January 26, 2004 to the Hyatt Regency for meeting space to accommodate 800 people, food services, and audiovisual equipment. This procurement is authorized by Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses from this notice is solely at the discretion of the government. A request for quotation (RFQ) is not available.
