- Description
- Provide In Vivo Radiopharmaceuticals, Mallinckrodt/Tyco Healthcare Brand Name or equal. Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota, has a requirement for a one year standing order contract with one 12-month option to renew, for a total contract period not to exceed two years. VAMC is soliciting for approximately 45 types of In Vivo Radiopharmaceuticals for use in Nuclear Medicine Department for bone scans, renograms, VQ lung scans, gastric emptying studies, thyroid scans and therapy, liver scans, etc. A standing order will be placed for delivery before 7:00 a.m. for approximately 3 radiopharmaceutical products; others are on demand and delivered same day or some have multiple same-day deliveries; cold kits (non-radioactive) are on an as-needed basis for Nuclear Medicine to prepare particular kits for imaging particular organs. Multiple awards may be considered; offers will be evaluated on locality, delivery systems, past performance, etc. The solicitation is full and open for competition but offers through FSS contracts will be considered if best value to the government. The FSC code for these products is 6515 and the Small Business Size Standard is NAICS code 325998 (500 employees). Request for Proposals No. 618-99-04 entitled ?On Demand In Vivo Radiopharmaceuticals? will be issued on or about January 13, 2004 with offers due on January 30, 2004.
