- Description
- The Advanced Missile System Division (LMX) part of the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) System Program Office (SPO) is seeking sources for a possible five year contractor support effort for long range planning in the arena of technology advancement and future ICBM systems. The support effort may include, but is not limited, to Land Based Strategic Deterrent (LBSD), Integrated Applications Program (IAPs), Prompt Global Strike (PGS), ICBM Long Range Requirements Planning Studies (ILRP) and any other LMX workload. The support sought is primarily Advisory and Assistance Support (A&AS) and System Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) with emphasis on program objectives, acquisition program management support, systems engineering and analysis. The core support personnel will be required to work on site at Hill AFB, UT. Personnel should possess at least a Secret Security clearance; some positions may require Top Secret. The company security level should be no less then Top Secret. Range of expertise required: familiarity with National Security Space Acquisition Policy NSSAP 03-01, DoD 5000 series regulations for Major Acquisition (ACAT 1) programs and strategic missile systems to include: Operation and Maintenance, and technical expertise in Ground, Guidance, Propulsion, Re-entry Vehicles, C4I, and Security subsystems. Contractors will be required to work within Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 9.5 Organizational and Consultant Conflicts of Interest. Interested/capable sources should provide company information to include point of contact information, company background, relevant contract experience and technical capabilities statements. Total response should not exceed 10 pages. Provide one electronic and three hard copies. Company format is acceptable; the evaluation team has access to Microsoft Office 2000 or Adobe Acrobat Reader for evaluating electronic submissions. Responses are due by 4:00 p.m. Mountain Daylight Savings Time, Feb 6, 2004.
