- Description
- DESC: Capital District Contracting Center intends to procure a contract for Educational Support Services for Defense Acquisition University DAU located at DAU West Region in San Diego, CA. The contract type will be a Firm-Fixed Price, 100 percent to tal small business set-aside Commercial Item. All capable small business vendors are encouraged to propose. The requirement is to obtain offerings of BCF 101, the Fundamentals of Cost Analysis Course; offerings of BCF 204, the Intermediate Cost Analysis C ourse; and outreach performance support in developing organic cost estimating capabilities. The contractor must possess significant experience in the field of Cost Analysis with specific recent emphasis on Total Ownership Cost (TOC) estimating and should hold a minimum Acquisition Professional Certification of level III in Financial Management and Comptroller specialty. Additional qualification/certifications in field of cost Estimating/Cost Analysis are strongly desired. The contractor will be responsib le for all aspects of course preparation and instructions, must be current in course material and meet or be prepared to meet all current requirements for DAU certification to teach BCF and BCF 204. In addition, the contractor must be able to define and s upport DAU customers cost estimating capability and performance support requirements including tailored curriculum. The government intends to award this requirement by using the following evaluation factors 1.) Personnel Qualifications 2.) Past Performance 3.) Technical Approach and 4.) Price. All evaluation factors other than cost or price, when combined are significantly more important than cost or price. The Period of Performance 1 February 2004 to 31 January 2005.
