Description
The US Army TACOM-Picatinny, on behalf of the Office of the Project Manager for Maneuver Ammunition Systems, is seeking sources of 30mm x 173mm TP-Tammunition. This ammunition will be used by the vehicle developer to develop a new infantry carrier vehicle for the US Army. The delivery requirement will be 1500 linked TP-T cartridges in May 2005. The cartridges will be packaged in 2-15 round belts per M592 ammunition container. Delivery of 5000 links will also be required in May 2005. The linked ammunition and the links must be compatible with the MK44 automatic cannon. The base contract will contain options for 5250 TP-T cartridges for May 2006 delivery and 30,250 TP-T cartridges for Oct 2006 delivery. Both options will require the ammunition to be linked and packaged in the M592. This notice is seeking information on any and all non-developmental 30mm x 173mm ammunition, which may meet this need.
