- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Notice of Intent to Lease Space Using Other Than Full and Open Competition Miami, Florida The United States Government intends to award a lease, using other than full and open competition to the Federal Reserve Bank Building, 41st Street, Miami, Florida for the offices of the United States Marine Corps. The following enhanced security measures that are already incorporated into this building make this location ideal for this agency. *Strictly controlled vehicle entry into the property. *All visitor vehicles are thoroughly searched by armed Federal guards. *Access into the building is controlled through ID checks and magnetometers. *Twenty-four hours a day on-site Federal security guards. *All incoming mail is x-ray. *Interior and exterior building surveillance cameras. *A perimeter cable and bollard system. *Three hundred feet of setback surrounding the building. *In-house security measures for increased threat levels. *Walking distance to the U.S. Southern Command. This lease will be for a total of 9,374 usable square feet of fully serviced space for a ten-year, five-year firm term lease. Firms who are interested in commenting regarding the Government?s intent to award this project under Other Than Full and Open Competition or in obtaining additional information regarding the above procurement should provide their written comments to Louise Long, Contracting Officer, at louisem.long@gsa.gov or to her attention at GSA, Realty Services Division (4PEY), Atrium West Building, 7771 West Oakland Park Boulevard, Suite 119, Sunrise, Florida 33351.
