- Description
- The General Services Administration, Special Services Division, will contract to relocate the Department of Interior, (DOI) with the main Interior Building (MIB) located at 1849 C Street, NW Washington, DC. The move activity is anticipated to begin Thursday through Sunday prior to the beginning of the following workday. The contractor will provide the necessary manpower, materials, supervision, transportation, equipment and related moving services for the relocation of boxes, furniture, library materials and disassembling and reassembling shelving, file shelving units, servers and computer equipment. The property inspection and walk-through will be conducted on February 5, 2004 at 10:00 a.m., in the main lobby entrance of 1849 C Street N.W., Washington, DC. Prospective bidders interested in attending the walk-through must submit to this office the company name, address, name of representative attending (only one per firm)along with the telephone and fax numbers by close of business February 2, 2004. Bidders that fail to participate in the walk-through or inspection of property to be relocated will not be considered for award. The solicitation will be issued electronically only on or about January 29, 2004. No telephone requests for the solicitation package will be accepted.
