- This is a Pre-Solicitation notice for the requirement of commercial services for Moving and Storage for personal property shipments for Inbound, Outbound, and Intra-City moves for Eielson AFB, Clear AFS, Ft. WainWright, and Ft. Greely Alaska (to include surrounding areas). Multiple Firm-Fixed Priced contract awards, based on Best Value, are contemplated for this acquisition. The contractor shall be required to furnish all management, supervision, labor, material, and equipment necessary to provide personal property shipment services in a manner that complies with the terms and conditions of the contract; commercial and industry standards; and applicable federal, state, and local laws, and regulations. Applicable NAICS Code for this service is 488991 with a size standard of $18.5M. This procurement will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside and will contain one base year and four, one-year option years. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 30 January 2003 on FedBizOpps at www.eps.gov. Paper copies are not available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent to any and all interested parties to review this website frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. You may need viewers for Microsoft Word (.doc), Microsoft Excel (.xls), and Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf). These viewers may be downloaded from the Electronic Posting System (EPS) website.
