Wolfe Ave., Bldg. 2800, Edwards AFB, CA 93524 SUBJECT: Renewal of Sirsi Software and Hardware Maintenance Contract REF NO.: F5LMCA32900500 DUE: January 28, 2004 POC: Chantel Pee, 661-275-9628 (fax) DESC: The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to solicit and award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to SIRSI Corporation of 101 Washington Street, Huntsville, Al. This acquisition is unrestricted. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is J070. The NAICS code is 511210. This procurement is for support of the Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) Technicial Library. The following items will be procured: The contractor shall provide software update support for the period of 1 October 2003 through 31 September 2004. This support will be for the software products listed below. The contractor shall include all deliverable items all software upgrades for their software products, complete with applicable documentation, provided for commercial customers who subscribe for SUS, including telephone support to resolve current revision level. Item Description: Software Maintenance: Bibliographic and Inventory Control, Enchanced Public Access, Circulation Control, (25) Infoview for DOS/ Terminals, Retrieval Interface Manager, Acquisition Manager, OCLC PRISM Interface, Hotline Support Service, Serials Check-in and Control, Stinfo Tracking, BRS Search Software Licenses, Request Module, Infoview for Windows, Kirkland?s Software Transferred to the AFFTC Technicial Library: Bibliographic Control, Enchanced Public Access, Circulation Control, Workstation Licenses (8). Contractor shall provide support for software maintenance between the hours of 0730-1630 (Monday-Friday). All software problems must be resolved in a 24-hour turnaround period. The phone support covers updates to the software as needed. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government?s requirement. In addition, the response should include Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items in accordance to FAR 52.212-3. If the offeror does not have a copy of this provision, go to www.arnet.gov to get a copy or contact the contract specialist by email to receive a copy. Any responses received without 52.212-3 will be considered non-compliant. Further, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. Anticipated Award date is January 29, 2004. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 4:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, January 28, 2004. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within 10 days of the publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Facsimile responses are acceptable and must be received on or before the closing date. Telephone requests to be placed on a mailing list will not be honored.
