Description
The Department of the Interior (DOI) National Business Center (NBC) has a requirement for enhancements to its Federal Command Center (FCC) service, which is a proprietary product of Meta Secur E-Com Solutions. FCC is a unique, cost effective IT Security program management service. FCC's single, integrated portal provides tools, a comprehensive security knowledge base, and reporting features for addressing federal regulations, implementing NIST standards, and managing OMB and Inspector General reporting mandates. FCC combines Policy and Awareness management, Vulnerability and Patch Management, enterprise system security assessment and POA&MS tracking with workflow and reporting. FCC automates security policy and awareness management and includes a comprehensive Federal Security Policy framework and features for creating, managing, deployment and tracking policies. The system is integrated with multiple third party system compliance checking tools for closed-loop policy management. FCC automates multi-platform vulnerability alerting, tracking, and patch management. The current requirement includes enhancements for the automation of POA&MS Tracking and Milestone Tracking. Optional line items include FCC Program Management Support, FCC & Symantec Integration Proof of Concept, and Implementation of DOI Hosted Command Center. Based on the information available at this time, and in accordance with 41 USC 253(c)(1), implemented by (FAR) Part 6.302-1, the Government considers the enhancements to the FCC service as a sole source from Meta Secur E-Com Solutions, 20464 Chartwell Center Dr., Cornelius, NC 28031-9629 and proposes to negotiate a contract with that firm on that basis. However, should additional sources be identified, they will be considered. Firms who feel that they can furnish the required services are invited to submit in writing an affirmative response within 7 days of the date of this announcement. This information will be evaluated and used to determine if competitive opportunities exist. Since no solicitation document exists, requests for such documents without accompanying information will be considered non-responsive to this request without further consideration.
