Description

GOVERNMENT VISUAL INFORMATION SUPPORT SERVICES AND EQUIPMENT OPERATIONS (VISS) NAVAIR Orlando Training Systems Division is seeking potential sources to provide technical and visual information services to a wide range of customers consisting of all the employees at NAVAIR Orlando Training Systems Division (NAVAIR), the U.S. Army Simulation, Training and Instrumentation Command (STRICOM), and, in some cases, NAVAIR/STRICOM contractors, as well as other agencies within the Department of Defense (DoD). The services will require full-time contractor personnel and resources to provide operation of the Video Information Support Center (VISC) located at the Deflorez building in Research Park, Orlando, Florida. The contractor will provide VISS management, support photography, graphics, presentation services, library services, special studies, video teleconferencing, equipment maintenance, and operate the Command's CCTV, Satellite Learning Center, and major conference rooms. In addition the contractor and personnel will be required to meet any Security requirements outlined in the solicitation. The duration of any resultant contract (including options) is anticipated to be approximately five years. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notification or otherwise pay for any information or inquiry. This notice is strictly to obtain information from potential sources regarding interest in the subject effort and to allow potential sources to submit responses, comments, and capabilities information to the Government. A DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) is posted on the NAVAIR Orlando Business Opportunities website at http://www.nawctsd.navy.mil/EBusiness/BusOps/Acquisitions/Index.cfm. To access the draft SOW, click on the above URL to display the NAVAIR Orlando Business Opportunities website and then click in the 2nd drop-down menu and select "Sources Sought/Market Survey Notice". All of NAVAIR Orlando?s current Sources Sought/Market Survey notices will be displayed on this page. Click on the link titled " GOVERNMENT VISUAL INFORMATION SUPPORT SERVICES AND EQUIPMENT OPERATIONS (VISS)", which will allow you to download the draft SOW. Responses should include a narrative identifying the scope of past and present (within the last 3 years) relevant experience, a description of capabilities to perform the subject effort, any comments on the draft SOW, and any alternative approaches to filling the subject requirement. Potential sources must identify their business type (i.e., large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a) certified business, woman-owned business, etc). The responses will serve as a basis for the Government?s decision to establish this requirement as an 8(a), Small Business Set-Aside, or Unrestricted requirement. It is anticipated that the NAICS Code 541430 with a small business size standard of $6.0M will be used for this acquisition.
