Description

NAICS Code: 541620 Center for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source fixed-price Purchase Order using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Kansas Department of Health and Environment of Galena, Kansas under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain expert technical support from Kansas Department of Health and Environment in the reanalysis of data related to the blood levels in children. Kansas is uniquely qualified to meet this requirement due to the fact that they are the proprietor of the required data from 1991 and 2000 Kansas DOHE possesses independent expertise capable of performing this work. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541620 it is the only vendor uniquely qualified to meet this requirement. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 15 calendar days of the date of this announcement will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed Purchase Order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
