- Description
- Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Lisbon, Portugal will launch, via the Internet, a solicitation to require Health Insurance coverage for its local employed staff, and eligible family members, in Embassy in Lisbon, Consulate in Ponta Delgada, Consular Agency in Funchal, Foreign Commercial Service in Oporto, Cincsouthlant in Oeiras. The Contractor shall provide Health Insurance services to an estimated 115 local employees, and 130 eligible family members, of the Government of the United States of America in Lisbon. Official Residence Employees (ORE) are included under this contract only as a rider. The Contractor shall furnish managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel to accomplish all work as required in the contract. These requirements may change depending on funding availability in forthcoming periods. Anticipated performance is for one base period and four one-year periods at the option of the U.S. Government. Health benefits include Hospitalization and Surgery, Doctor Visits, Treatments, Medical Exams, Out-patient Services, and Related Diagnostic Services, Prescription drugs, Medical Care Related to Childbirth, Optical Service, Physical Therapy, Ambulance Service, Prosthesis devices, Dental Services.
