- Description
- Provide A/E services for site investigation; design contract documents to include specifications, calculations, estimates, and drawings; and construction period services for Project 557-04-101 Fire Sprinkler Phase 4 at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center, Dublin, GA. The installation of the sprinkler system consists of a complete fire sprinkler system on each floor of Building 8. Building 8 is a two-story building with approx. 8900 sq.ft. per floor. Asbestos containing material will most likely be encountered. System requires tying into the fire riser on each floor, installing an isolation valve, tamper switch, flow switch and connecting to the Simplex 4120 panel. Construction cost is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. Interested firms must submit Standard Forms 254 and 255 no later than 2/17/04. NAICS Code 541330 Engineering Services, size standard is $4.0 million. This is an emerging small business set-aside under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Firms to be considered will be limited to those located in the State of Georgia. See Numbered Note 24. This is not a Request For Proposal (RFP). Award of this project is subject to the availability of funds.
