Description

Requirement is for as needed emergency response services (e.g. clean up hazwaste releases, petroleum product spills etc), underground utility excavations, soils management, site preparation, earthwork site restoration, hazardous waste excavation, removal, containerization and handling, heavy equipment operation, repairs, transportation and disposal services. The primary work location is at the former McClellan AFB, CA and its satellite location -- Davis Communications Site. Contractor field staff are required to perform tasks in potentially hazardous environments and must meet the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120 and be trained in spill response and clean up at contaminated sites. Contractor will be required to provide an onsite field office trailer and staff the soils management yard during working hours. This is a small business setaside. The period of performance is 12 months. The contract will include both Firm Fixed Price and Time and Materials pricing arrangements. Contract award will be to the low responsive, responsible offeror. The RFP will be issued on or about 30 January 2004 with a response date of 2 March 2004. A site visit date will be identified in the solication.
