- Description
- Work consists of furnishing all parts, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, services, and supervision necessary to replace and repair the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system in US TRANSCOM Bldg 1961, Scott AFB, IL. The principal items of work shall include, but are not limited to, the following: The contractor shall remove chiller, condenser and air handler units. The contractor shall replace chiller, condenser, air handler units and all associated ductwork. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP), Price Performance Trade-Off (PPTO) solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System is 238220 and the size standard is $12,000,000.00. There will be no public bid opening. Award will be made based upon the ?Best Value? to the Government in accordance with FAR 15. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This acquisition is being issued for full and open competition under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration program. The closing date and time for submission of proposals will be contained in the solicitation package. The entire solicitation, including the specifications and drawings, will be made available only on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) website at http://www.eps.gov. The solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the EPS website to: USAF Offices, Air Mobility Command, 375th Contracting Squadron, Scott AFB IL. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. Potential offerors MUST register at http://www.eps.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. All contractors MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database in order to receive an award.
