Description

The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about JANUARY 29, 2004. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This project consists of funishing all labor, materials, supplies, equipment and incidentals to remove trees identified at the following five sites (Fort Fisher, Fort Welch, Fort Wheaton, Colquitt's Salient and Battery 27) in accordance with contract specifications. Felling and removal shall be conducted using techniques that will prevent damage to the historical earthen features and associated park facilities. A SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED FOR: FEBRUARY 12, 2004 AT 1:30 PM. Contractors will meet at Petersburg National Battlefield Headquarters, 1539 Hickory Hill Road, Petersburg, 23803. The NAICS code is 561730. BIDS ARE DUE BY BID OPENING DATE AND TIME: MARCH 1, 2004 AT 10:00 AM. Late bids will not be accepted. The project estimate is between $300,000 and $400,000.
