- Description
- This solicitation is being issued as Intent to Award on a sole source basis to Moody?s Investor Service, 99 Church Street, New York, NY, 10007 for the purchase of an electronic service that provides information on the debt market via Bloomberg Terminals in accordance with FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) requires an electronic service for the Division of Market Regulation that shall provide information on the debt market. This service shall be available via Bloomberg Terminals, with real-time updating. The contractor shall provide access to the following services: Ratings, ratings updates and watchlists, annual in-depth reports on the key issuers in the global industrial, utility, and non-bank finance sectors, and quarterly one-page credit opinions on more than 800 issuers. The service shall include 20 annual Industry Outlook reports on industries ranging from global automotive and aerospace to retailing and telecommunications, along with special comments on trends in credit risk affecting corporate credits. The contractor shall provide several types of ratings for more than 100 nations, ratings updates, annual credit reports, Moody's monthly "Banking and Sovereign Credit Comments," and information on local, regional, and national economic developments and trends. The contractor shall provide ratings and ratings? updates, and special comments and banking system outlooks for the 200 largest capital markets banks and securities firms worldwide. Interested persons may submit a capability statement to chapmand@sec.gov on or before 3:00 PM EST January 20, 2004. The period of performance is anticipated to be for one base year, and 4 option years. Accordingly the SEC intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Moody?s Investor Service.
