Description
Veterans Integrated Service Network Region 3 is seeking eligible sources to perform minor construction, alteration, and repair task orders under the resultant Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity [IDIQ] Job Order Construction contract [JOC]. Individual Task Orders [TO s] will be issued for each requirement. Each TO shall include a current Davis Bacon Wage Determination [depending upon geographic location], Scope of Work [SOW], and completion date. NAICS codes shall be determined in each Task Order. The place of performance is any one of the VISN 3's facilities listed as follows: VA Bronx Medical Center, VA NYHHCS [Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, St. Albans campuses], VA Northport Medical Center, VA Hudson Valley [Montrose and Castle Point campus NY state], VA NJHCS [E. Orange and Lyons campus], and associated satellites, CBOC and Vet Centers. The contractor is required to be located, either by virtue of his main office or a satellite operation base, within an area permitting a maximum of a four (4) hour response time to any of the main Medical Center locations awarded. Said office or satellite base must be operational prior to award of the contract and throughout the duration of the contract, and must be open for business from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. An emergency phone number must be provided where a Contractor point of contact can be reached at night, during weekends or holidays. That person must have the ability to obligate the Contractor. The ensuing contract will comprise of one base year, with options to extend the basic contract annually for up to four (4) additional 12-month years. This is a 100% set aside reserved exclusively for 8(a) firms serviced by the NY District Office and NJ District Office. The solicitation package [10N3-83-04] will be posted and available for download on the BOS website (http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/cgi-bin/WebObjects/BosPublic.woa) on February 2nd, 2004.
