Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Grand Coulee Power Office, Grand Coulee WA 99133 has a requirement to upgrade the existing Halon fire protection systems in the following locations: 500 Switchyard; 230 Switchyard; Warehouse A Flammable Storage Rooms; Administration Building (West); and Left Powerplant (Operations Dispatch Area). These systems are currently operative; however, the Government requires that they be upgraded to operate with FM-200 gas (or an approved equal). Some rework of the existing Pyrotronic's controllers will also be required. A mandatory site visit will be scheduled in February. The Request for Quotation and drawings will only be handed out at the site visit. The NAICS Code is 561621 and the size standard is $10.5 million. To attend the site visit, you must fax or e-mail your request to Nora Jenn (509) 633-9175 (fax) or njenn@pn.usbr.gov (e-mail), the following information: Name of your company, Dun & Bradstreet Number, representatives name, phone, fax, and e-mail no later than February 2, 2004. You will be notified of the site visit date and time. A picture ID will be required for entrance onto the Government facility.
