Description

INSTALLATION OF TELECOMMUNICATION WIRING: The United States Geological Survey intends to procure installation of telecommunications wiring and termination for the USGS space at the parking facility of the University of Illinois-Champaign, North Campus according to the statement of work. Drawings will be supplied to interested bidders. This notice is a solicitation for commercial services in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Please read this entire notice, the instructions herein, and the attachment documents carefully. This acquisition is 100% TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS. SCOPE: See RFQ #04ERQQ0038. HOW TO RESPOND: In order to compete for this project, interested parties must submit a quote via fax or e-mail, by 12:00 (noon) EST on February 13, 2004, to Merwin Charles, U.S. Geological Survey Acquisitions and Grants Branch, 12201 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston, VA 20192. Proposal Evaluation Criteria: (1) Technical Factors (2) Price and price related factors (Firm-Fixed Price). This will be a Best-Value award determination. Price will be a factor but technical factors are far more important. A copy of RFQ # 04ERQQ0036 can be obtained at the following web site:http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Questions about this requirement MUST be in writing and submitted by fax or e-mail. Telephone inquiries are strongly discouraged. All inquiries must include the solicitation number, your full name, organization name, address, phone and fax numbers, and must be received by 12:00 (noon) EST, February 6, 2004. Answers to ALL vendor questions will be sent via FAX or e-mail to all interested parties after the question period deadline.
