Description: The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) intends to award a sole source contract to L-3 Communication Aeromet Incorporated, located at 112 Beechcraft Drive, Tulsa, OK 74132, for the purchase of two (2) previously modified Gulfstream IIB fixed wing, test assets currently being utilized for the Air Borne Sensors Program under a separate lease contract. There are no other known airframes possessing the current configuration and modifications necessary to house the research and development programs / equipment required by MDA. The estimated cost for both assets is $8.25M. See Note 22.
