Description

If the web page is used, it is requested that registration be confirmed with eith er a fax or an email. The government cannot guarantee a bidder will be added to the bidders list if registration is not confirmed via email or fax. DISCRIPTION: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District has a requirement to fabricate conveyor roller chains and deliver 40 each to Little Goose Dam and 40 each to Lower Granite Dam, Snake River, Washington. The roller chain shall be Double-Pitch Conveyor Roller Chain C2160H in accordance with ASME B29.1M and ASME B29.4M. The chain shall be of the r iveted pin construction with press fit link plates. The connecting links shall be drive fit with cotter pin construction. Roller chain components shall be stainless steel meeting the following specifications: (a) Chain pins: ASTM A 276 or ASTM A 479/A 479M, UNS Designation S21800, 60,000-psi minimum Yield Strength (0.2% Offset Method). (b) Bushings: ASTM A 564 or ASTM A 693, Type 630, 40-48 Rockwell C hardness. (c) Pin links and Roller links: ASTM A 276 or ASTM A 240, 300 series stainless steel. All pin links and roller links shall be of the same type and grade of stainless steel. (d) Rollers: Type 304 or Type 316 stainless steel. (e) Cotter pins: Type 302, Type 304 or Type 316 stainless steel. Each chain length assembly (strand) shall be 82 foot, 8 inch long. ADMIN INFO: Procurement is Unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333613. The small business size standard is 500 employees. This notice is not an invitation for bid; a solicitation will be issued for this requirement. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by this agency.
