- To order a solicitation, interested firms may either (1) fax requests complete with company information, shipping address, point of contact, phone number, fax number and business size to Vicky Challis at 509-527-7210, or (2) email requests with all o f the same information to vicky.r.challis@usace.army.mil. The Walla Walla District's web page (http://nww.usace.army.mil/ebs.AdvertisedContracts.asp) may be used; However, it is requested that registration be confirmed with either a fax or an email. The Government cannot guarentee a bidder will make it on the list if registration is complete using only the web page. DESCRIPTION: Walla Walla District, Corps of Engineers, has a competitive requirement, F.O.B. destination, Contractor shall furnish and deli ver cathodic protection anodes to Ice Harbor Dam. There are two style of anodes in all, cylindrical rods and ingots. Two sets of technical documentation, including material composition and production drawings shall be submitted to the technical point of contact at site (through the Contracting Office), for approval, prior to contract award. Contractor shall furnish and deliver 390 cylindrical rod anodes 2inches in diameter and 50 cylindrical rod anodes 1.05 inches in diameter, all 20 foot - 8 inches in length (not inclulding the protruding core). In addition, the contractor shall furnish and deliver 150 ingot style anodes as shown in the attached drawing. Anode composition shall conform to the specification below. Each cylindrical rod anode shall include a 1/4 inch diameter steel core. The steel core shall protrude from both ends of the an ode by approximately 3 inches(plus/minus 1/4 inch). Composition: Aluminum 2.5% - 3.5%,Copper .05 Max, Mananese .20 min., Nickel .01 Max, Zinc .7% - 1.3%, Other Impurities .001 Max, Iron .002 Max, Silicon .30 Max, Magnesium Balance. Schedule: Delivery shall commence no later than 60 days after the receipt of contract award. All anodes shall be delivered no later than 90 days after the receipt of contract award. Contractor shall make prior arrangements with the Government personnel at site to deliver and unload the equipment. Delivery: Normal working hours at Ice Harbor Dam is 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The delivery shall arrive between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. during our normal working days. This is to allow for unloading and inspection. The delivery sh all be made to the south side of the dam. The delivery address is as follows: Ice Harbor Dam, 2763 Monument Drive, Burbank, WA 99323 Contractor shall make prior arrangements with the government personnel at site to deliver and unload the equipment. Warranty: Each unit shall be covered by a materials and workmanship warranty for a period of no less than one year from the date of accept ance. Call Vicky Challis @ 509-527-7210 to receive drawing.
