Description

DESCRIPTION: Contractor is required to provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to: 1) Remove approximately 600 linear feet of existing 4 x 12 timber walers/rub rails and associated hardware (thru rods, bolts and washers) and dispose of according to federal, state and local regulations 2) Install new 4 x 12 walers and 3 x 12 rub rails along existing concrete floating modules along with new hardware per manufacturer?s instructions and as detailed on drawings 3) Install 2 new pile guides and 4 new side pile guides and designed by concrete dock manufacturer and as detailed on drawings 4) Install approximately 210 linear feet of new 4-inch extruded rubber D-bore fender along timber rub rails. Incidental work items not listed above but necessary for completing the project shall be included. All work shall be in accordance with plans and specifications. The location of this project is U.S. Coast Guard Group Eastern Shore, Chincoteague, VA. The estimated range of this procurement is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 237990. The size standard is $28.5 million. NO RESPONSE WILL BE PROVIDED FOR REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATION OR POSTING STATUS. Our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. The Coast Guard now distributes the Technical Data Package (TDP) portion of solicitations through the Federal Technical Data Solution (www.FedTeds.gov) Web site. In order to obtain the TDP portion of the solicitation, the contractor will be required to be registered in CCR and have a Marketing Partner ID Number (MPIN). For information on CCR and MPIN, access the Web site at: http://www.ccr.gov/vendor.cfm. You can register to receive notification when the solicitation is available. You can download the solicitations via http://www.eps.gov/. The due date for quotes has not been scheduled. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings will be available for download from the Web site in the near future.
