Description
CONTACT Stanley Chan, Electronics Engineer, (732) 532-1862. This is a market survey to locate sources for depot level support/repair for NSN 5975-01-437-3993, Pedestal Junction Box, the component of the Lightweight High Gain X-Band Antenna (LHGXA). The LHGXA system is an X-Band only antenna that has a sixteen-foot reflector and serves as a Quick Deployment Satellite antenna for Ground Mobile Forces terminals. The LHGXA system is built onto a trailer configuration, and can be towed by a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle or a five-ton truck, or transported by air or rail. Harris Corporation is the developer and original equipment manufacturer of the LHGXA system, and maintains configuration control of this system. Technical data package for the LHGXA system and its components, such as engineering drawings, specifications, acceptance test procedures, and repair documentation, which are all required to establish depot repair capability, are NOT AVAILABLE from the Army. Suppliers capable of pro viding this service must so indicate in writing to: Commander, U.S. ARMY CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-COM-T-TM (Stanley Chan), Building 1202W, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023. The response MUST include documentation such as test results, depot maintenance repair pr ocedures for the mentioned component, and copy of purchasing order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, successfully provide this service. Successful supplier wil l be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Department of Defense and be delivered on time.
