Description

Sole Source: The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, intends to negotiate a contract with Laser Techniques Company, LLC, 14508 NE 20th Street, Bellevue, Washington, 98007 on an other than full and open competition basis. This requirement is for one Completed Turn-Key 155-MM Laser Based Inspection System (LBIS) for 155-mm Cannon Gun Tubes. USAYPG??????s tests missions require laser based inspection systems to profile wear 3D measurement data, visual inspection data, and n ondestructive (NDT) capabilities for 155 gun barrels. The specifications can be found on the following web site: http://www.yuma.army.mil/contracting/RFP on or about 29 January 2004. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is so lely within the discretion of the Government. Responses other than the above source may identify their interest and capabilities to perform the requirement by submitting a proposal via email or facsimile with complete mailing address, point of contact, ph one number, facsimile number and business size. Please forward your information not later than 4:30 PM MST on 12 February 2004 to the following site: linda.renteria@yuma.army.mil for facsimile (928) 328-6849. See Note 22 with the exception that the time period for the receipt of proposals for consideration is 10 days instead of 45 days.
