Description

The Portland District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to place an order with the ASL AQFlow, 1986 Mills Road, Sidney, B.C. Canada to perform index testing at all of the project powerhouses to optimize efficiency of the turbines. The meth od of measurement for hydraulic flows during these conditions is through acoustic scintillation flow measurements (ASFM). ASL will provide professional services for the flow measurement for all projects. In addition, they shall provide personnel to opera te the system during index testing on the powerhouses, assist in installation and commissioning of the ASFM and on-site training of operating personnel. ASL is the only company in North America with access to ASFM product and technology, having the only e xclusive license on the broad patents held in the United States and Canada. RFP is expected to be issued on or about 12 February 2004. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business, the size standard of which is a concern, including all affiliate s, with average annual sales or receipts for the preceding three fiscal years not in excess of $6 million.
