Description

Maintenance dredging of unclassified material in the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, from Charleston to Port Royal, Charleston County, South Carolina. Estimated quantity to be dredged is approximately 403,800 cubic yards. Dredge material shall be p laced in the designated disposal areas. The work also requires a disposal area report. The contractor will commence work within 30 days of Notice to Proceed. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business. The NAICS code is 237990 with a size s tandard of $17.0M. Additionally, the firm must perform at least 40% of the volume of dredging with its own equipment or equipment owned by another small dredging concern. The magnitude of the work is $500K - $1M. Engineering Federal Acquisition Regulati on (EFARS) Clause 52.232-5001, Continuing Contracts, will apply to this procurement. Contractor must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration prior to award of this solicitation. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet. No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Bidders must register on the website below in order to view or download the solicitation documents. It is the responsibility of the bid ders to monitor the website for notices and amendments.
