- Description
- NUWC Division Keyport is soliciting for Inspection Services for Flight Critical Cylinder, Sleeve A02H4951 and Sleeve Plunger A02H4945 Assembly. As required by Statement of Work and associated drawings, the contractor shall be required to design and utilize Inspection Method Sheets that list part features, method of inspection and results, by serial number of the assembly; the Testing Lab must have a fully documented and approved Quality Management System that meets the requirements of ISO 9002; 1994 or ISO 9001; 2001 as applicable to testing labs. This laboratory shall also be accredited to the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025, The General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories. The accreditation must be with a recognized organization such as American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA. A Calibration lab that meets the requirements of ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 Calibration Laboratories and Measuring and Test Equipment?General Requirements, must also support the test lab. Quality Assurance personnel must exhibit a high level of expertise in the interpretation and use of the ANSI Y-14.5 Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing specification. Basic quantity of 33 pieces for Production lot sampling for Plunger and Sleeve Assembly with five option quantities for production log sampling for plunger and sleeve assembly of 25 each and one option quantity of 24 each. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 12 commercial acquisition procedures utilizing best value evaluation of offers. FOB Destination: Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, Keyport, WA 98345-7610. Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.n eco.navy.mil. It is anticipated that the RFQ will be available for download after 09 Feb 04 with a closing date of 20 Feb 04. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to klosem@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ or amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. The drawings are Export Controlled. Only vendors that are registered with the DOD, Joint Certification Program and provide a completed DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement are eligible to receive copies of the drawings. Information regarding this program may be obtained at www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp. Solicitation RFQ packages will also be available for download via NUWC Division Keyport website at http://kpt-eco.kpt.nuwc.navy.mil/. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitting quotes must: (1) complete the pricing, (2) complete all representations and certifications found in the solicitation, (3) manufacturer information of proposed items and (4) ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov/).
