Description
The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, FL intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for a Camera Head. This acquisition is unrestricted. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The announcement number is F33TSW33390200. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334413, with a small business standard size of 500 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The requirement is for CLIN 001 a large format Vis/Near IR CAMERA Specs. Sensor- IR Focalplane Array (FPA): Minimum size of 640(H) x 480(V) pixels, Windowing, Snapshot, Maximum pixel size of 25x25 um; Geometric Fill Factor: >0.95; Band-pass: Maximum cut-on wavelength is .5 microns; Minimum cut-off wavelength is 1.5 microns; Temperature Sensor: FPA temperature sensor accessible over RS-422 com/ctrl/status link. A dedicated connection is acceptable but not required; Cooling: Temperature stabilization only; Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference (NETD): 0.03 deg C at 300K, Quantity One (1). CLIN 002 Electronics. Dynamic Integration Time Adjustment: Allow for at least 4 different, preset integration times to be applied on a frame by frame basis. Each different integration time shall have its' own gain and offset adjustment. A global gain and offset shall also be provided; Frame Rate: Full frame rate at maximum FPA pixel resolution - including all sub-frames - shall be greater than 100 Hz; Analog-to-digital Converter: Minimum of 14-bit resolution; Data Input/Output: Raw Data: All digital data provided by the imager shall be in raw format, i.e. no NUC applied; Parallel: Data and sync outputs including pixel data, vertical and horizontal syncs, and line clocks shall be provided in LVDS or RS-422 format directly from the camera head's electronics box and be compatible with the Matrox Meteor-II frame grabbers. Data and sync outputs shall be capable of driving signals over a 150 ft. cable; Serial Fibre: FPA data output compatible with the Systran I FibreXtreme; Simplex Link (FSXL) Family of Communication boards; Serial Command/Control/Status: Frame rate, integration, window size and location, global gain and offset, synchronization mode, saturation bit and FPA status shall be set and received over an RS-422 serial communication link; Synchronization: The electronics shall have the capability to generate (Master mode) and receive (Slave mode) frame synchronization signals. A single SMA-style coaxial connector shall be used for both the "Master" and "Slave" modes. The synchronization mode shall be set by a command over the external Serial/Control/Status interface. When in "Master" mode, the electronics shall be able to synchronize up to three imagers (Slaves) using 5 ft. RG174 coaxial cables; External Connections: All external connections shall be Mil Spec when available; Mating Connectors: A complete set of mating connectors without cables shall be provided; Documentation: A complete set of wiring cut sheets and drawings for each external cable shall be provided in a format that is compatible with Microsoft Office XP, Quantity One (1). CLIN 0003 System Miscellaneous - Operating temperature range: -20 to 70 deg C; Storage temperature range: -20 to 70 deg C; Electrical requirements: Complete system shall be operated from a single 28 VDC power supply; Size: FPA, and optics shall fit in a box that is 6"H x 5~W x 15'L with the optical axis running length-wise; Documentation and Schematics: 1 Hardware: Upon system delivery, reference manuals and a complete set of system-level electronics schematics shall be provided in both a format compatible with Microsoft Office XP and bounded hardcopy, Quantity One (1).
