Description
NSN 4710014745719RV TUBE ASSEMBLY, METAL P/N 819147-01 DESC: OC-ALC/LPKPA DIR CONTRACTING/PROPULSION 3001 STAFF DR STE 2AG1 109B TINKER AIR FORCE BASE OK 73145-3032. For additional information, contact Linda Murphy/LPKPA/(405) 734-8242. Item 0001 is a Tube Assembly. NSN: 4710014745719RV. P/N: 819147-01. DESCRIPTION: The Tube Assembly is ?Z? shaped and connects to the oil supply line at turbine exhaust strut and turbine rear bearing. The function of the tube assembly is to transfer engine oil from exhaust case strut to #6 bearing. SIZE/DIMENSION: Length is 4.639? MAX and 4.579? MIN (without connectors) outside diameter is 0.370? MIN to 0.380? MAX. PREDOMINANT MATERIAL/FUNCTION: Consists of AMS 5581, Type 2 NI Alloy. QTY: Range of 93 Max, 74 Med, and 37 Min. Destn: Tinker AFB OK 73145-3032. Delivery: November 2004. The approximate issue date of solicitation will be 16 February 2004. This item is competitive. Data package will be provided and First Articles Requirements will apply. Quotes will be requested on or about 18 March 2004. The anticipated award date is April 2004. Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design (or manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing on items determined by the government to be similar in complexity and criticality completed) can be considered approved sources for this item. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Written quotations are required. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with United Technologies Corp. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source selection process.
