Description

This acquisition is for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract to remove runway rubber and paint/repaint pavement markings at March ARB CA. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to removing rubber from the runway using a chemical method and painting pavement markings on the runway as needed to ensure proper operation of the flight line. This is a unit price contract. The solicitation will be issued under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and the government anticipates awarding a base period from the date of award through 20 Mar 2005, with two one-year options that will result in a fixed-price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract. The magnitude of the maximum amount is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000, including all options. The applicable North American Industry Classification is 237310, and small business size standard is $28,500,000. A bid bond is required. The sealed bid will be awarded without discussion to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government considering price and price-related factors. This solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 10 FEB 2004, on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.FedBizOpps.gov, with a proposal receipt date on or about 10 MAR 2004. Paper copies will not be available. After the solicitation is posted, interested parties are cautioned to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments. NOTE: All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for contract award. Registration may take up to three weeks to complete, so we recommend immediate attention to ensure eligibility. For registration, go to http://www.ccr.gov and follow the instructions. A pre-proposal conference/site visit will be held on 19 Feb 2004 at 10:00 a.m. interested parties will meet in the Operational Contracting Office conference room, 1940 Graeber Street, Bldg 449, March ARB CA,.
