Description
This is a Sources Sought notice and request for market survey information for a competitive acquisition for parade uniforms, consisting of parade jackets and trousers/slacks. The USAF Academy is interested in identifying potential sources to acquire these uniforms The proposed contract will be a commercial firm fixed price requirements contact with a basic period and four one-year option periods. Garments shall be manufactured utilizing both Government Furnished Material (GFM) for the mens and womens parade jackets and Contractor Furnished material (CFM) mens and womens trousers and slacks. Estimated yearly quantities (to include fill in requirements) are: Jacket mens 1150; Jacket women 250; Trousers men 1887 pair; Slacks women 450 pair; Special program slacks, Drum and Bugle 54 pair. Exact quantities and sizes will be identified on individual delivery orders. Product specifications USAFA CU 2130-01, USAFA CU 2120-03, USAFA CU 140-09, and USAFA CU 260-08 are applicable and can be provided via written EMAIL request. NOTE: All items and components must be made and manufactured in the USA. Compliance to the Buy American Act, Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Supplement DFARS 252.212-7001, 252.225-7001 and 252.225-7000 are mandatory. NAICS codes are 315191 and 315211. This uniform requirement also requires that the contractor perform and on-site fitting in September for each cadet and also return to re-fit after manufacturing.
