Description

Amendment published on 20 Jan 04 and amended on 21 Jan 04 is revised to delete reference to a performanced based specification. The actual specification is CECOM Document A3117470, Military Specification, Detecting Set, Laser AN/AVR-2A(V) which is c lassified Confidential. Also there is a an Interface Control Document, AN/APR-39A(V) Radar Detecting Set (RSDS) and the AN/AVR-2 Laser Detecting Set (LDS) which is required to provide interchangeability with exisiting aircraft installations of the AN/AVR- 2A(V)1. This document is also classified Confidential. In order for prospective offers to receive these documents they must possess a facility clearance of at least Confidential with an approved storage granted by Defense Security Service (DSS). Any suc cessful offeror must have a DSS facility clearance of at least SECRET in order to produce and test the AN/AVR-2A(V)1. In order to receive the documents a request must be made in writing , stating the name and address of the entity that has the DSS facilit y clearance and the CAGE code of that facility. The request shall be mde to US Army RDECOM, CERDEC, I2WD, ATTN: AMSRD-CER-IW-ET (R Lunden), Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703. The maximum order quantity is changed to 286 each. the closing date for responding to this announcement is 4 February 2004.
