Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, HSCG81-04-Q-YT059, is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-18. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 315999 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. Battle Dress Uniforms (BDU), Trousers, 3-Color Desert Camouflage Pattern, 50/50 Percent Poly/Cotton Twill. Sizes and Quantity: Extra-Small Short 30 pairs, Extra-Small Regular 2 pairs, Small Short 14 pairs, Small Regular 15 pairs, Small Long 4 pairs, Medium Short 1 pair, Medium Regular 205 pairs, Medium Long 80 pairs, Large Short 71 pairs, Large Regular 202 pairs, Large Long 190 pairs, Extra-Large Regular 86 pairs, Extra-Large Long 186 pairs, Extra-Extra-Large Regular 80 pairs, and Extra-Extra-Large Long 83 pairs. CLIN 2 ? BDU Shirt/Jacket with 4 pockets, 3-Color Desert Camouflage Pattern, 50/50 Percent Poly/Cotton Twill. Sizes and Quantity: Extra-Small Short 30 each, Extra-Small Regular 20 each, Small Short 12 each, Small Regular 4 each, Medium Regular 106 each, Medium Long 137 each, Large Short 58 each, Large Regular 83 each, Large Long 152 each, Extra-Large Regular 169 each, Extra-Large Long 178 each, Extra-Extra-Large Regular 80 each, and Extra-Extra-Large Long 76 each. Design, fabric and sewing quality shall be in accordance with current mil-spec. The delivery date shall be April 2, 2004. The destination address is: Commanding Officer, United States Coast Guard, Integrated Support Command (ISC), 4000 Coast Guard Blvd., Portsmouth, VA 23703. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to this solicitation and is the most advantageous to the Government, price, past performance, quality and other factors considered. Also, all offers will be evaluated in accordance with simplified acquisition procedures, FAR Subpart 13.106. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 2000), 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items (March 2001) and 52.215-5, Facsimile Proposals (Oct 1997), apply to this solicitation. The provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items (May 2001), shall be completed and submitted with the RFQ. PLEASE READ, COMPLETE AND PROVIDE ALL INFORMATION IN THIS SOLICITATION AND PROVISIONS OF ALL CITED FAR CLAUSES. Quotes shall include FOB points and shipping charges, if any.
