- Description
- The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to solicit information from parties interested in bidding on a future procurement for the Evaluation of the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP). The attached announcement provides background information on the legislative requirements, prior evaluations, NAEP, and research questions. CONTACT INFORMATION: Potential bidders are requested to submit a letter of interest and information on their relevant experience and qualifications. Letters should be addressed to DeShonjla Blount at Deshonjla.Blount@ed.gov and carbon copied to Dorothy.Moody@ed.gov or DeShonjla Blount, Contracts and Purchasing, U.S. Department of Education, ROB-3 Room 3069, 7th and D Streets, SW, Washington D.C. 20202. All letters forwarded regardless of medium must be received by 2 pm (EST), March 1, 2004. DISCLAIMER: The RFI is being issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or to otherwise pay for information received in response to this RFI. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked "Proprietary" will be handled accordingly. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Information provided in response to this RFI will be used to assess alternatives available determining how to proceed in the acquisition process. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e), responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI.
