Description

Remodel Interior Building 142 at Portland Air National Guard Base, Portland, Oregon. The proposed work principally involves: selective demolition to include interior walls, ceilings, carpet, mechanical and electrical systems; installation to include new interior walls, cabinets, casework, conference table, audio visual systems, carpet, air conditioning, mechanical, electrical, fire and security alarm systems. Functional areas shall include: existing conference room; new conference room; offices, and reception area. The projected length of construction is 90 days. Construction shall be Type N, non-combustible. There will be two mandatory scheduled site visits; d ate and time will be given in the final synopsis. Interested parties must contact Mr. John Nieder, (503) 335-4459 to obtain Base access information and applications. Site visitors will meet in the Engineering Section, Room 56, Building 140, prior to the site. No contractors will be given access to the Base without a completed and approved application. A firm fixed-price contract is contemplated. The estimated construction cost is $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. Contractors must be CCR registered and capable of receive electronic funds transfer in order to receive the award. Plans and specifications will be available from Precision Images (323 SW Oak Street, Portland, Oregon) on or about February 20, 2004.
