Description

DESC: 1005-00-550-4091, Part Number 5504091, The item to procure is a Barrel Support in support of the M2 .50 CAL Machine Gun. The Barrel Support is a malleable cast iron cylinder approximately 3 1/8 inches in diameter by 9 5/8 inches long. There a re six rows of ascending size holes; three rows with three holes each and three rows with four holes each. Solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Requirements are 1,650 with a 200% option quantity requirement. FOB is Destination. Estimated is sue date is 27 Feb 2004 with an estimated response date of 16 Apr 2004. The solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that can be viewed with the solicitation via the internet. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
