- This is a modification to the previously issued synopsis, posted on 08 December 2003. This requirement will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-aside. FAR clause 52.217-8 "Option to Extend Services" shall be incorporated into the solicitation/contract. This will be a follow-on requirement to contract N00189-00-D-0043 with Haztrain, Inc., 10485 Theodore Green Blvd., White Plains, Maryland. The current contract is due to expire on 30 April 04. The NAICS Code is 611699 and the SIC Code is 8299. All responsible sources must submit resumes, past performance, and pricing data to the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center by 4:00 p.m. on the date the offer is due. The solicitation will be available on 30 January 2004. ================================================================== The Government intends to negotiate an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract with firm fixed price unit prices for the instruction of the Hazardous Substance Incident Response Management (HSIRM) (A-493-0077) and HSIRM Refresher Courses (A-493-0083), as required by the Naval Occupational Safety and Health Environmental Training Center(NAVOSHENVTRACEN), Norfolk VA. This Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract with firm fixed prices is in accordance with FAR subpart 13.5 ?Test Program for Certain Commercial Items? (CLINGER ? COHEN). The resulting contract will be from the date of award for one year with four (4), one-year option periods. Training services shall be performed in the Continental United States and OCONUS locations, as required. The successful offeror will be required to have insurance under Annex 6 of the Agreement of Defense Corporation between the United States of America and the Kingdom of Spain (ADC), before they can obtain country clearance (s) for their employees, regardless of whether their employees will be designated contractor employees, technical reps, or employees of non-Spanish and non-commercial organizations. Detailed specifications and delivery requirements will be specified in the solicitation. This requirement will be issued under full and open competition in accordance with FAR Part, 6.1. Potential offerors are hereby notified that that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available by downloading the documents at http://www.neco.navy.mil, as this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, or debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. The solicitation will be available on or about 8 January 2004.
