Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Smart Document Solutions (SDS) of 120 Blugrass Valley Parkway, Alpharetta, GA for the modification of SDS?s proprietary business process solution to pilot an electronic transference of SDS obtained medical records to SSA in the format compatible with the new electronic disability business processes. This involves changes by SDS to their business process and systems format for material being delivered to SSA on behalf of their customers. This business process solution is currently known to be available only through SDS. This synopsis constitutes the only announcement on the particular requirements described herein. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response hereto shall not be honored or acknowledge. However, any responsible firm that believes it has the capability to provide SSA the required maintenance/lease may write to the referenced contracting officer. Faxed responses will not be accepted. All responses must be written and received by February 4, 3:00 p.m. Eastern time for consideration. Respondents should refer to SDS04-CCS. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided. If no affirmative written responses are received by this date, to the effect that a comparable source exists other than SDS, an order will be placed on February 5, 2004, based on simplified acquisition procedures, with SDS for the aforementioned process solution.
