- Description
- The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) is seeking information in the form of capability statements from interested small businesses (NAICS code 325412; small business size standard is 750 employees). Organizations must possess in-house capability to perform clinical laboratory services to support national multi-site clinical trials. Services include supplying of clinical products to trial sites, performing laboratory analysis, evaluating devices and methodologies, and providing consultations in screening and testing methodologies used in addiction research. All laboratories must be operated according to the FDA?s Good Laboratory Practices Program and have required national certification. All operations should be performed under established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) guidelines. Information sent should be relevant and specific in the technical area under consideration, on each of the following qualifications: (1) Experience: An outline of previous projects, specific GLP work performed and any in-house research and development effort, (2) Personnel: Name, professional qualifications and specific experience of scientists and technical personnel who may be assigned as principal investigator and/or project director; (3) Facilities: Availability and description of special facilities required to perform the work . Any other specific and relevant information about this particular area of procurement that would improve our consideration and evaluation of the information presented is desirable. All offerors are encouraged to submit information documenting its capability and/or experience in performing the kind of work described in this notice. Such documentation may include, but not be limited to, contracts both Government and commercial the offeror has performed, references, i.e., names, titles, telephones numbers and any other information which serves to document the offeror?s capability, e.g. awards, commendations, etc. Any proprietary information should be so marked. This is not a Request for Proposals. This notice is for information purposes only and does not commit the Government to any contractual agreement. Interested organizations submitting a capability statement in responses to this sources sought announcement are required to identify its size status.
