Description

The Federal Correctional Institution, Sheridan, Oregon has a requirement for a contractor to provide Computer Related Advanced Occupational/Vocational training courses leading to a program completion certificate for the inmates at the institution. Service to include, but not limited to, recruitment of instructors, instruction, curriculum development & guidance, registration, transcript services, record keeping, and appropriate counseling. Instruction to be provided on-site. The Contractor shall provide all textbooks, workbooks, instructor and student supplies, photocopies, etc., to support the program. Interested parties must be listed in the directory entitled Accredited Institutions of Post-Secondary Education or educational institutions must be accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities or its regional counterpart. This requirement is for an accelerated program; as such, the contract period is anticipated to be from March 1, 2004 through September 30, 2004. The solicitation will be available on or after February 12, 2004, and will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instruction. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
