Description

Cell Assembly for a periscope consisting of close tolerance machined aluminum casting with various optical elements and lenses. The item is approximately 7.34 inches long and 5.5 inches in diameter. Requirements are 12 each. FOB is DESTINATION. F or use on the Abrams Tank. The proposed contract will include a 100% option each year for a period of 3 years. Proposed contrat is 100% Small Business Set-aside. All or part of this action is an unfunded FY04 requirement. Estimated issue date is 20 Feb 2004. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore hard copies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address vi a the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain bidders mai ling list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and t ime set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of the same.
