- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.This solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-20. The solicitation number is for FA8104-04-Q-0030. The solicitation is a request for quotation (RFQ). Closing date for quotations will be received at the issuing office until 3:00 PM 21 Nov 03. Source(s) is/are (Cage 63005) Rolls Royce Corp, Indianapolis IN. Size/Dimension: 5 inches in diameter X 1.5 inches thick; predominate material is AMS5763 overall composition; applicable to the T56-A-15/T56-A-7B turbo prop engines. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 336412. This is a requirement for Line Item 0001; NSN: 2840-01-385-2727OJ. Noun: Labyrinth seal ring. Form/Fit/Function: Provides a sealing surface to prevent oil leaking by the #2 engine bearing. Qty: 85 ea; P/N; 23057658; government and commercial surplus is acceptable. Items must be new/unused and manufactured by Rolls Royce. Certification of manufacturer is required. Assets must be in their original packaging and meet all required inspection and testing criteria outlined in the 2J-T5-53. Place of delivery and acceptance is: Tinker AFB OK (FB2039). Required delivery schedule(s) is/are as follows: 85 ea, 31 Jun 04. Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award.
