- The following Q & A has been submitted in reference to Solicitation 10N3-89-04 Medical Systems Management: Q: Does the entire contract need to be performed every month or annually? A: Building to be split up into four (4) sections to be determined by Contractor. Each quarter a different section will be inspected and repaired. Thereby completing the entire facility once per year. However since this year the contract will be initiated in the second quarter the entire building will have to be done in three (3) quarters. Q: In reference to the temporary labels at the zone valves and then permanent placards to match, does this facility want the rooms verified that they are controlled by each valve with drawings to match? A: No, facility will be responsible for labeling Q: Are the existing zone valves already labeled from last years test? A: Yes Q: Does the facility have the existing drawings or CAD in order to verify this information? A: Yes Q: Does the facility want the control labeling performed in the first 7 months and then every 12 months thereafter? A: No Q: Due to the age of some valves, it is possible that rebuild kits are not available, is this going to be a problem? A: No Q: Does the enzyme solution Pro Flo have to have the exact name? A: No, a Comparable solution can be substituted as long as it meets requirements. Q: What companies are on the bidders list for this contract? A: We do not have a bidder?s list due to the solicitation be posted on the web. Q: Who was the company that had the contract last year? A: Gas Systems Management, Inc., Holly Springs, NC 27540. Q: What is the list of system manufacturers? A: 1. A rail system manufactured by Hospital Systems; 2. A rail system manufactured by Hill Rom; 3. Ceiling columns manufactured by Hill Rom; 4. Flat wall headwall systems manufactured by Hill Rom; 5. Ceiling hose reels manufactured by Chemetron; 6. The majority of our wall outlets are by Chemetron; 7. Medical alarm panels are manufactured by Ohmeda, Chemetron and Amico.
