- Description: Repair by replacement of steam and condensate lines in parts of the 200 area. Scope of work is replacement of 3,800 LF of above ground steam and condensate lines, including trap stations. New pipes shall be factory pre-insulated steel pipes, schedule 40 for steam and schedule 80 for condensate. Pipe insulation shall be mineral wool and polyurethane foam in a sandwich construction. The protective outer jacket shall be galvanized steel with a spiral lock seam. The location of Thule Air Base limits exterior construction work to the months of June through September, although work is sometimes possible in May or October.
