Description

The contractor shall provide backup Licensed Practical Nursing services during periods of personnel shortfall or absence of assigned Government personnel in support of the U.S. Army Medical Treatment Facility (MTF), Ireland Army Community Hospital ( IACH), Fort Knox, Kentucky, during the period of 1 April 2004 through 31 March 2005, plus two one-year option periods. Nursing personnel shall be of a quality meeting or exceeding current recognized national standards as established by the Joint Commissi on on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and the American Hospital Association (AHA). NAICS 621399 with a size standard of $6M applies to this requirement. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Business . The solicitation will be i ssued on or about 12 February 2004 with bids due on or about 11 March 2004. The solicitation will be posted on the Fort Knox homepage website at www.knox.army.mil/garrison/doc/contracting_opportunities.htm on or about 12 February. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted to this website. Contractors are cautioned to check this website for amendments. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled.
