Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a seeking sources and combined synopsis/solicitation for 5-each -- RGB Carrier and Housing assembly, NSN 2835-01-180-5549, P/N 3-020-410-27 with a option to buy 1 to 50 ea RGB Car rier & Housing assembly, NSN 2835-01-180-5549, P/N 3-020-410-27 over the period of 1year from date of contract. FOB Destination Fort Riley, KS. Parts must be currently available in stock on-the-shelf items. The urgent requirement for these parts will not a llow time for parts manufacturing. Solicitation is prepared IAW FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicita tion will not be issued. This solicitation W912JC-04-R-4009 is issued as an RFP. Estimated value of this acquisition is between $100,000 and $250,000. This solicitation incorporates provisions in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-18. SIC cod e: 3724. NAICS code is 336412. This requirement is for the Advance Turbine Engine Army Maintenance Team, Kansas Army National Guard, Bldg. 1460, Fort Riley, KS. Proposals will be evaluated and award made on the based on the lowest priced technically accept able proposal. A technically acceptable proposals is one which the contractor has on-the-shelf government compliant parts. Prospective contractors must provide a sample of each part for inspection and approval by the ATEAM Quality Assurance Inspector. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications (5/2002) applies to this acquisition. A completed-signed copy of this provision shall be submitted with any proposal. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions (2/2002) a pplies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (5/2002) applies to this acquisition. Under paragraph b, the following clauses are incorporated: 52.20 3-6, Restrictions on Subcontractor Sales to the Government, with Alternate I; 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; 25 2.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans; 52.225-3, Buy American Act-Supplies. The clause 52.232-33, Mandatory Information for Electronic Funds Transfer Payment (5/1999) applies to this solicitation. The clause at DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Term s and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items (11/2001), is applicable to this acquisition.
